প্রিয় বন্ধুর পাড়া নিঝুম চেনা চাঁদ চলে যায় রিকশায়
মুখে যা খুশি বলুক রাত্তির শুধূ চোখ থেকে চোখে দিক সায়
পায়ে ঘুম যায় একা ফুটপাথ ওড়ে জোছনায় মোড়া প্লাস্টিক
আমি ভুলে যাই কাকে চাইতাম আর তুই কাকে ভালোবাসতিস
পোষা বালিশের নিচে পথঘাট যারা সস্তায় ঘুম কিনতো
তারা কবে ছেড়ে গেছে বন্দর আমি পাল্টে নিয়েছি রিংটোন
তবু বারবার তোকে ডাক দিই একি উপহার নাকি শাস্তি

Let's walk down the tram-lined street, and write couplets over sprawling poetry
Oh, the warmth seems so beautiful, feel it on the thermometer if you wish
My heart's thumping; my soul is nostalgic like damp sleeves in the sweet mist
I forget who I craved, and who you loved
That beloved neighborhood's deserted; that known moon goes by in a rickshaw
Let the night say whatever it wants; just gaze into my eyes from yours
Sleep deserts my tired feet; the footpath floats in moonlight like draped plastic

Beneath the comfortable pillow, those who once slept cheaply on the streets
When did they leave the port? I've changed my ringtone
Yet I call out to you again and again - is it a gift or a punishment?
