The Cattle Call

When the cattle are prowlin', the coyotes are howlin'
Out where the dogies bawl
Where spurs are a-jinglin', this cowboy is singin'
The lonesome cattle call

I ride in the sun 'til my day's work is done
Rounds up cattle each fall

For hours, I will ride on the range far and wide
When night winds blow up a squall
I don't care about the weather, my heart is light as a feather
