The Sick Helper

The Sick Helper
There once was a man in charge of the army
He was called Captain because he was the boss
Many soldiers had to obey him
One man was very special to the Captain
He was the Captain's helper
One day, the helper became very sick
He was hurt and could not move
This made the Captain sad, so he looked to Jesus for help
When he met with Jesus, he said, "Lord, I need help
My special helper is sick and hurt." Jesus said, "Don't worry
I will come help him get better." The
Captain said, "You don't have to go to him
If you just say the word, my helper will be well again
I know You can do this because many men obey my word
If You tell the sickness to leave, it will obey
Your word." Jesus was so happy to hear this
He knew the Captain really believed
Jesus said, "Go to your helper
He will be well when you get there." And when the Captain
Returned home to his helper, his servant was well
