One of them bout to be in Kindergarten this fall
I work in the school district
As a counselor
This shit can't keep happening
To our kids and professionals

I'm not sure anymore
What I can even do
I'm leaving for the same
Reason that I came
And It's hard for me to say
It's too tough in public schools
Want us to build a house
And not give us the tools
It's easy for you to hate
Until you walked in our shoes
I think I'm great at what I do
But I can't do miracles
I'm not Jesus
But on God
They better tighten
Up the gun laws
Right to bear arms
Shouldn't include machine guns
I'm in the army
So don't come for me
With that anti American
Bullshit type of Rhetoric

Being a veteran
I hate to see the country
I swore to protect
From the outside
Implode upon itself by neglect
On the inside
And then try
To put the ownest of their crimes
On our lives
Save our kids first or our demise

This shit is just beyond sad
And one of the saddest things to Me is that this really could
Be avoided
Or at the very least mitigated
It doesn't make any sense to me How people mourn and come
Together for like a week
And then forget until the next tragedy happens
I mean Columbine, Sandy Hook Aurora movie theater shooting
Virginia Tech shooting
Charleston church massacre
There's really just way too many examples that make America unique for the worst
No other country is plagued by shit
Like this in the entire world
Think about that
We have one of, if not the loosest gun laws in the world
Call me crazy
I think there's a correlation
America stand up
