The Woods

i'm walking down a trail in the woods on this lovely day
found peace of mind
in a decent time
so i think that i'm
gonna be okay
everything's my favorite
mother natures
got me amazed
like whoa, like whoa!

while life's just passing by ya
i'm laying in a field of dandelions
feeling totally groovy
a wild child, i don't follow no routine
see, the same old, don't make any sense
so i'm switching up links on my chain of events
i do this for the ladies and gents
who claim
the world can't change
well, i'm taking your bets
i love going on outings
enjoy my surroundings
i'm staring and the clouds +
sky tinted waters by the thousands
that tree is enormous
that flower is gorgeous
i watch while a squirrel forages
it's amazing what you see in the forest
in the forest
maybe even a tyranasaurus

But i'm just strolling down a path in the woods on this lovely day
knee deep
in a stream
but to be
completely
honest, it feels great
you can stay in your cubical
but usually
i'm off in a beautiful
place
like lalala, lala
