満ちる黄昏 溶ける面影
琥珀の世界 閉じ込めた
遠すぎる記憶 探してわたしは 歩き出す
旅路の果てに 見つけたあの日

朝露に飲まれ 形をなくして 消えてった
流れる忘却の川(レーテ)が 隔てる彼岸に
たたずむ悲しい 目をしたあのひと

すべては泡沫(うたかた) 触れえぬ幻
それでもわたしは 現(うつつ)と信じて
いつかのひかりを 心の深くに しまうから
優しい日々を 残した写真
広がる赤に 飲み込まれ
大切なものを なくしたわたしは
夢に 欠片求め
目覚めた朝に 頬に残った
涙のあとが 唯一の
いつかに近づく 微かな手掛かり
それでも 思い出すよ――あの光景(ひかり)を
傾く陽射し 遠くひぐらし
はしゃぐわたしの 手をひいて
優しい笑顔で 隣を歩いて くれたひと
家路を辿る 道の途中で
ふと足を止め 振り返り
伸びたふたつの 影 ひとつに重なり 焼きついてた
夕陽に染まった あなたの横顔
みつめるわたしも 茜に色づき
交わした約束 大事にしまった 胸
すべては泡沫 儚い夢でも
心に抱(いだ)いた 温もり確かに
いつかのひかりは わたしを包んで くれるから
眠りの淵に 浮かぶ小船が
岸へと向かい 走り出す
眩しい朝日に 目覚めたわたしは
滲む 涙ぬぐい
見上げた空に たゆたう月が
満ちて欠けてを 繰り返す
季節は移ろい 思い出遙かに
それでも 忘れないよ――あの光景を

The Light of That Day

As twilight descends, the silhouette fades
In a world of amber, I'm trapped
Distant memories I seek, I embark on a quest
At journey's end, I found that day
The warmth I finally held
Was consumed by morning dew, disappearing without a trace
The river of oblivion flows, dividing us on opposite shores
There you stand, a figure with sorrowful eyes
My overflowing emotions yearn for answers
All is but a fleeting illusion, a dream I cannot grasp
Yet I believe in its reality
For in the depths of my heart, I will forever treasure the light of that day
The photograph preserves the beautiful days we shared
Engulfed in the spreading crimson
I, who have lost what mattered most
Seek fragments in my dreams
Upon waking, the only trace left
Is the tear on my cheek
A faint clue to draw me closer to that day
Even so, I remember――that radiant light
As the sun sets, distant cicadas sing
You took my hand as we skipped ahead
With a gentle smile, you walked by my side
As we made our way home
You suddenly stopped and turned
Our two shadows stretched out, overlapping and leaving an imprint
Your profile bathed in the evening glow
My face too turned crimson as I gazed upon you
The promise we made, I hold close to my heart
Though all is but an ephemeral dream
The warmth I felt is undoubtedly real
For the light of that day envelops and comforts me
On the shores of slumber, a small boat emerges
And sets sail towards the distant bank
I awaken to the blinding sunlight
Wiping away the lingering tears
As I look up at the sky, the moon hangs suspended
Waxing and waning in its eternal cycle
Seasons change, and memories fade
Even so, I will never forget――that radiant light
