As you continue to saw at my being, but you love me

Maybe you love that I stick around even when you forget who you are
And start caressing my ear with harmonies
Of false prophecies, narratives of unrealistic truths
You are gentle with my mental but rough with my roots
Stroking my heart with despair as you please my visions of us

Please this vision is lust, I can't trust
You've been anything but a man to me
Why can't we just let this be again?
It's our reality manipulated into a nightmare
