Today's the day we set off
The magic spell is broken
Seeing you covered in mud
I learned the strength of not giving up
Touching your scarred hands
I learned how to love someone
The scattered cherry blossoms celebrate your new journey
Your smile is so strong and brave
I'll adorn you with a sparkling crown
A gentle wind brings spring
And whispers a smile
Stroking your cheeks like the clear blue sky
Wiping away your tears
Looking out of the old window
I remember the day we met
It feels like yesterday
And a long time ago
I always used to wait for the bell
But today I wish it would never ring
This book is covered in our doodles
I don't want to close it
When I met you
I came to know the true meaning of love
When I fell in love with you
I discovered a happiness that pierced my heart
The setting sun
Pushes your lonely back forward
I hide your tear-reddened eyelids
That don't want to leave the nest
The familiar city looks on with concern
And illuminates the path ahead
For as much as we have gained
There is also the sorrow of loss
But this pain is a testament to our happiness
So let's carry it with us

Because it is the last time I walk with you
