ある日家族がなんだか慌てていた
おじいちゃんがはねられ足が折れちゃったんだって
近所の病院の固そうなベッドの上で
はやく家に帰らせろって 看護婦に怒鳴りちらしてる
わかるよわかる 横断歩道ないけど
大好きな畑までの近道だもの

誰にでも居場所はあるもんだ
思わず笑ってしまうような
漫画のヒーローを
本気で目指してる
いつかの自分になれるという
それは今もそこに

The noise of the world mingling and echoing,
A restless summer afternoon, my heart pounding.

Everyone has a place they belong,
Where their heart feels transparent, pure,
In a cool, deep forest,
Held close and safe.
A place where you can feel that way,
It's still there, even now.

One day, my family was in a panic,
Grandpa got hit by a car and broke his leg.
In a stiff hospital bed, he lay,
Yelling at the nurses, demanding to go home.
I understand, I get it. There's no crosswalk,
But it's the shortcut to his beloved field.

Everyone has a place they belong,
A place that makes you laugh out loud,
Like a comic book hero,
Someone you truly aspired to be.
A place where you can become that someone you once dreamed of,
It's still there, even now.

One by one, people drifted away from town,
I too followed that same path, chasing something.

Battered by the hustle and bustle, I thought I'd grown up,
What an embarrassing misconception that turned out to be.

A place where you feel scolded without a word,
Where your cunning heart gets mocked,
Yet still waits for you.
Into the flowing river,
I dive in again and again.
