곤히 잠이 들어 평온한 꿈을 꾸면
난 다시 어린애 되어 끝없이 칭얼대면서
한없이 주렸던 맘을 그곳에서나마 채우리
폭풍처럼 마구 흔들었던
가혹했던 짧은 여름 지나고
엇나간 마음에 덧난 상처
채 아물기 전에 찾아온 겨울
긴긴 잠에 깨어 다시 새 봄이 오면

Bed for the Winter

As I lie down and close my eyes, seeking solace in slumber deep,
The many thoughts that haunt my mind
Gradually begin to settle down.
A face emerges, your gaze meeting mine,
A veil of moisture shimmering upon your cheeks as I confessed my love.
We were blinded by our dazzling love,
But the fervent summer has passed.
The warmth of your touch now replaced by a chill in my aching heart.
A gentle breeze seeps through the cracks,
And as I drift into a tranquil dream, a sense of peace washes over me.
I regress into a child, wailing endlessly,
Satisfying my insatiable hunger in that realm of dreams.
The tempestuous summer has ended,
Its fury leaving wounds upon my wounded heart.
Winter has arrived before my wounds could heal,
Enveloping me in a prolonged sleep.
When I awaken from my slumber and spring returns,
I'll have matured slightly, and as I tread upon the barren earth,
Our combined warmth will melt away the ice that encases my body and soul.
