A fiend who plants its parasitic seed

With breaking bones contorting as they grow
And muscles twisting into foreign shapes
A creature spawns with yellow eyes that glow
In hunger through the fog of midnight drapes

Begins beneath the mournful, scarlet moon
The scent of salt and iron thrills the beast
As mothers of dismembered sons now plead and croon
The snapping jaws have splintered skulls and limbs
And leave the strongest men in scattered pieces
Within the pools of death the creature swims
Until the sun relieves the mortal leases

The tortured bones retract once more into
The human form they are supposed to be
As consciousness returns with thoughts askew
The eyes once yellow fade and start to see

The ruthless carnage of their heinous breed

Which plants itself when mercy comes and dies
