So, I mean, when you do think about the journey that you've been on
And all the work that has gone into this moment, I mean, what's going
On in your mind when you're thinking about the fact that everybody
Who believed in you, didn't believe in you, yourself, you're going to
Be able to go to a store or get on iTunes, and it's going to be
There. Brett Young's self-titled debut album. That's pretty cool. Um
I don't know why this is, but one of the coolest things for me will
Be seeing it on a shelf physically for the first time. And I remember
When I was first kind of falling in love with music and first started
Buying music with my own money. That was my favorite thing, was to go
In, like, on album release day and get, you know, I'll never forget
Boyz II Men, uh, I think it was called II, their second record. Like
I went to Best Buy the day that it came out to get that. And there
Was, yeah, I would always walk the aisles of, of CDs and just, I was
In love with music and, and I loved just like knowing what was out
There and stuff. And so the idea of mine kind of being amidst all of
That is really cool. Will you go down to a store and find yourself
And buy your album? Yeah, I mean, I'll go buy mine. I buy mine
Digitally every time it comes out right away too. There's just
Something really cool and validating about having the official copy
On the phone and in the car. And so, yeah, absolutely will. So will
You be the guy that's like in Walmart holding the CD cover up next
To your head? Probably the, probably the exact opposite actually
My, my band gets so mad at me because, you know, this is all really
New and exciting. Yeah. But I'm kind of like one of those people
That, you know, if somebody sees me and, and recognizes me on their
Own, that's really cool and I love that and that's flattering
But my band likes to walk around telling people who I am and I'm
Like, y'all stop that. Stop that. Let's not draw attention to it
You know. So, uh, no, I'm not gonna, I don't think I'll be holding
The record above my face. So have you seen this guy lately? No
You see a resemblance here? That's funny. So everybody should be on
The lookout. You might see Brett Young in a store buying his own
