I'm sick of sitting and reminiscing about the past
Like will you listen, cause I've been healing from things
That have bothered me for years
And I never chose to talk about it
I just bottled it with fears, until now
I can look at myself and feel proud
Of the cards that I was dealt
I made a turnaround
To anybody who doesn't like me, that's alright
I found peace within myself when I had to fight
When my world was crumbling down
I had to find a way
To keep myself off the ground
I had to fight the pain
When it felt like you weren't around
I had to overcome
And carry the shame
Plus carry the weight
But thats a lot to ask

I just wanna say that I'm thankful for everything
That has happened to me in the last couple years
And it's weird to say but I'm thankful to be here for once
