We shall see Jesus
Just as He is!

Once, on a hillside
People were gathered
Hoping to see Him
As thousands were fed

He touched, the blind eyes
Healed broken spirits
Moved with compassion
Raised up, the dead

As angels, hovered that great day
Heaven, was silent
Watching as Jesus
That day was crucified
No one, stepped foward to show Him mercy
The One who, who had healed them
Yet, He loved them
As He suffered and died
Oh but wait a minute now!

No longer silent!
Angels proclaimed it!
Praise God!
Jesus was risen!
And soon, would ascend
Yes He would, yes He would!
And then,
As He blessed them
Hallelujah!
He rose, up to heaven
Praise His name!
And gave them His promise
To come back again

We shall see Jesus
Just as they saw Him
There is no greater (there is, no greater, no greater promise)
Promise than this (than this, praise God!)
When He returns in
Power and in glory
We shall see Jesus
Just as He is!
Sing it again children!

We shall see Jesus (we shall, see Jesus, yes we will)
Just as they saw Him
