Raffi - Weather Report Songtexte

Songtexte Weather Report - Raffi

We begin with sun on salt water
The hot sun warms the ocean
Evaporating water into gas
The invisible water vapor in the air
And this warm gas rises
And as it rises, it cools
To form little clouds that band together
Light and fluffy clouds
That blow in every breeze that comes along
The breeze now blows the clouds upward
Taking them higher, and higher
And up the mountainside they go
Now heavy with moisture
And the cooling temperatures
Condense the water vapor into raindrops
And the rains come down
Down, down to the forest, into the valley
And some of the rain is absorbed by the trees
And by the forest floor
And some goes underground, to the roots that feed the trees
Meanwhile, the surface rainwater makes little streams
Streams and rivulets, that join the rivers
That run out to the sea
Where the sun is about to come up
On another day, down by the bay
