RESULT OF HIS BLINDNESS. HE ALSO REALIZES THAT HE CAN NEITHER ACCOMPLISH HIS
MISSION, NOR STOP THE VISIONS FROM PENETRATING HIS MIND. HIS SOLE ESCAPE IS
TO SUBMIT TO THE MAGIC CHARM OF THE GREAT SEER
