Once upon a time, I was young and jotted rhymes
But December 7th
2020 now it's 2021 and I'm level headed
I always had a smart mind, intuitive, but I remember getting
Confused, emotional in the mind until I realized several lessons
I started writing journal entries, the purpose memory
To remember every day I had, key word is every
I started writing line for line, emotional at the time
But these lines were different, no beat, no rhyme for rhyme
But then I realized time and time, that it got me thinking deeper, that true wisdom and knowledge was inside my mind
Every lesson that I had learned in life
And the people would come out in every word I write
Like my grandpa, dad, and the breakup, I'll remember Rob
"Godson" and the struggle I saw in my mom

December 29th, 2020, I wrote in my journal
2020 was the year of... now I want 2021 to be the year of success in music
And since that statement, I've leveled up
But I wanna know what 2022 has in store
