Lyrics The God of the Scriptures - Evangel feat. Benjamin the Esquire & Timothy Brindle
-The
scriptures
speak
of
His
majesty/
There's
no
gods
before
Him
and
none
after
Thee/
So
receive
the
light
and
follow
His
story/
It's
all
to
the
glory
of
Jesus
Christ!-
Evangel
Let
me
kick
the
facts
harder
than
Jet
Li/
And
reverence
this
God
that
parted
the
Red
Sea/
Pharaoh
and
his
army
had
followed
them
but/
The
Red
Sea
got
hungry
and
swallowed
them
up/
My
God,
all
others
gods
ain't
half
as
nice
How
He
devoured
Elijah's
sacrifice/
While
the
other
prophets
offered
to
Baal,
this
ain't
a
tall
tale/
It's
in
the
Word
that
they
all
failed/
He
can
work
with
guys
little
means-think
not/
See
uncircumcised
Philistines
and
a
slingshot/
He
can
give
life
to
dead
men/
Physically
to
Lazarus
spiritually
to
brethren/
Who
can
resurrect
man's
will-try
hard/
And
make
the
sun
do
a
stand
still-
My
God/
Made
the
walls
of
Jericho
fall
with
a
shout
that's
big/
Strengthened
Samson
when
they
scalped
his
wig/
He's
the
mighty
God
get
the
picture/
Not
the
God
of
your
pictures,
but
the
God
of
the
Scriptures/
I
see
the
big
myths
how
they
lie
to
you/
Like
remember
those
heroes
that
died
for
you/
Giving
props
to
man
and
won't
give
praise/
To
the
one
who
created
the
earth
in
6 days/
Where
were
u
when
He
laid
the
earth's
foundation/
Man,
don't
question
the
church's
salvation/
And
there's
mad
evidence
unless
you're
blind/
But
then
mankind's
always
2 steps
behind/
And
There's
more
to
see,
and
we
know
assuredly/
This
stuff
can
be
proved
historically/
We
had
a
debt
so
large,
He
paid
the
bill/
We
were
dead
in
sins
but
He
raised
the
will/
Don't
praise
Christcentric
for
the
way
we
spill/
You
better
sweat
this
God
who
gave
us
skill!
Benjamin
Jehovah,
creator,
God
of
the
governments,
The
Lord
of
the
Bible
is
the
Lord
of
the
covenants!
Makes
a
bond
of
blood
with
te
strongest
thugs,
Who
were
fond
of
love
fearing
the
punishment!
At
creation
the
first
oath
was
formed,
Oceans
born,
God
spoke
the
storm!
Established
the
pattern
of
the
day
and
night,
So
we
know
He
is
faithful
and
displays
His
might!
On
the
sixth
day
He
raised
the
clay
to
life,
The
promise
is
fulfilled,
we
praise
the
Christ!
Who
is
the
second
Adam,
though
the
first
had
failed,
God
kept
the
agreement
so
the
curse
prevailed!
All
men
will
return
to
their
earthly
jail,
But
blood
was
promised
as
a
worthy
bail!
The
broken
covenant,
opened
the
judgment,
When
man
transgressed,
Noah
surely
sailed!
The
whole
script
was
flipped
with
him
on
the
ship,
Baptized
and
dipped
while
mankind
was
ripped!
The
next
page,
finds
us
with
father
Abe,
The
next
phase
of
covenantal
godly
grace!
The
Lord
wrapped
a
pact
with
a
fact
and
creed,
He'd
provide
a
seed
that
would
actually
bleed!
Get
smashed
for
greed,
got
axed
for
me,
Righteousness
credited
to
those
who
ask
and
plead!
All
of
Abraham's
true
children
have
the
same
faith,
Repentance
gives
entrance
through
the
same
gate!
They
look
forward,
we
look
back,
the
same
date,
For
the
coming
of
the
King
that
springs
from
Dave's
race!
The
treaty
extended
splendidly,
David's
root
has
His
throne
in
the
heavenlies!
The
bond
as
blossomed
to
the
blood
of
the
Lamb,
Jesus
Christ
has
fulfilled
God's
covenant
plan!
Timothy
Brindle
Yall
should
be
mindful
of
this
devout
thesis,
All
of
the
Bible
is
about
Jesus!
Peep
the
Old
Testament,
We
see
Christ
from
Genesis
to
the
whole
rest
of
it!
Let's
be
quite
precise
in
lighting
mics,
And
go
through
a
few
of
these
types
of
Christ!
First
in
Genesis
3,
When
Adam
and
Eve
were
badly
deceived
and
tempted
to
eat!
Their
nakedness
exposed,
The
first
type
of
Christ
when
God
covered
them
and
gave
them
their
clothes!
'Cause
in
te
same
way
God
covers
believers
trifling
mess,
With
Jesus'
righteousness!
Christ
is
Noah's
ark
when
God
flooded
the
earth,
Saving
men
from
the
judgment
and
curse!
He's
Isaac
on
the
altar,
who'd
have
been
slayed
by
hands
Of
Abraham
bit
God
gave
the
ram!
He's
Jacob's
ladder
see,
The
only
way
to
heaven,
so
He's
saving
brethren
to
praise
His
majesty!
He's
the
unblemished
lamb
in
Exodus,
So
wrath's
passing
over
us,
we'll
stand
in
excellence!
When
Israel
was
famined
in
the
pilgrimage,
He's
the
bread
of
life,
the
manna
in
the
wilderness!
Like
Moses
he
intercedes
for
His
people,
But
unlike
him,
Christ
bleeds
for
our
evil
