Pip Proud - Adreneline and Richard Lyrics

Lyrics Adreneline and Richard - Pip Proud

Adreneline and Richard
Carried sticks in the forest
The forest was great it was a great forest
With mouths dumb with nonchalance
And eyes kindled with lies
The house was to be a big one
A castle of stone men
Roaming to and fro as if lost of the way
And the house was built and new trees grew
And Adreneline loved him
And Richard was doubled
I have so much trouble
My finger nails are stubble
I've counted our beads and we have none left
Go to the market and take those cattle
And what their prices will bring
And Adreneline took anger
And shouted to Richard
We have a mansion of silver pennies
We don't need money when we've got our cattle
For they are worth more than gold
And Richard took an argument
As a sword of frustration
And slew the cattle where they lay
See my Adreneline they're just like us
They are only worth their weight in meat
And Adreneline was wiser and made ten early
And Richard was too fat to move from the couch
And Adreneline was happy
And left Richard and all he was
And I was Adreneline and Richard rotted away.
