Da ist ein kleiner Junge, der geht oft durch die Straßen.

Sein Blick sucht seinen Vater. Der sagt: "Du mußt nicht weinen.
Sie hat dich sehr gern." Dann kriegt er Schokolade
Und Vater führt ihm Filme vor. Sie putzt ihm seine Nase.
Sie ist sehr freundlich. Und doch ist Sie ihm fremd.
Genauso wie zuhause, da ist ein Onkel ab und zu da.
Der will ihm Vater sein. Und ist es nicht.

Er möchte gern mit Vater wieder mal ganz allein sein.
So wie im letzten Sommer, in seinen großen Ferien.
So mit ihm baden geh'n, und große Schiffe seh'n. Ja, das war schön!
Und andre Städte seh'n. Ja, das war schön!

Und Mutter müßte mit, dann wären sie zu dritt.

Das Telefon schrillt heißer. Der Vater geht und sieht ihn an:
"Ja, mach' dir keine Sorgen. Ob er noch bleiben kann?

Der Vater sagt zur Tante, warum der Junge solang' bleibt.
