I sit beneath an orchard
Not a single tree, but the entire field
The rows of vines and bushes swooshing my skin
Like electricity
Cables cut loose to drag across a wet highway
It drips down through the veins of time
The reigns we weigh on the shoulder of life
Loosen as we drop the body
