በቃላት ድርድር በሙዚቃ ቃና
ስሜት ስታብራራ ነብሴን ስታጣራ
አየሁኝ ጠበብ ሰማሁኝ እዉቀት
ልናገር ልመስክር የዚህን ሰዉ ፅናት

ቀልጦ እንደሚበራ ሻማ
መብራት በሌለዉ ከተማ
እየቀለጠ በራልኝ
እየሞተ አኖረኝ
ለሱስ ባለዳዉ ነኝ
ህይወት እንዳይሰለቸኝ
ሲጨነቅ ሲጠበብ
አይተኛም ቀን ከሌት
ለደስታየ ሲዋትት

ካህኔ የነብሴ አገልጋይ
እንቅልፍ አትተኛም ወይ

በፃዲቅ ሰዉ ቃላት
ነብሴ ገባች ከገነት
ጣዕሙን ዜማ ስታዜም
ቃልን ከህይወት ስትቀምም
ስጋየን ለየህ ከነብሴ
አቆራረጥከኝ ከስትንፋሴ
