paroles de chanson Misinterpreted lyrics - Frank Zappa
Well
you′ve
done
it
in
a
unique
way
You've
had
your
own
record
camp
base,
record
label
You′ve
been
nailing
in
business
I
mean
what
Is
this
your
ability,
desire
to
sort
of
at
least
keep
it
with
under
you
control
So
that
no
one
else
will
be
able
to
sense
your
stuff
before
it
comes
out?
Well,
look
the
experiences
that
I've
had
with
censorship
go
back
to
the
time
When
I
had
my
first
record
contract
with
MGM
We
had
a
song
called
Let's
Make
The
Water
Turn
Black
And
had
a
line
in
it
that
said
I
still
remember
mama
with
her
apron
and
her
pad
Feeding
all
the
boys
at
Ed′s
café
And
then
that
line
took
about
eight
bars
of
music
Just
prior
to
the
bridge
in
the
song
And
somebody
at
the
record
company
thought
that
that
line
was
obscene
And
chopped
out
eight
bars
of
music
out
of
the
song
and
I
didn′t
find
out
about
it
Until
the
album
was
out
on
the
street
And
I
found
out
years
later
that
the
reason
that
they
took
those
words
out
is
Because
some
guy
at
the
record
company
thought
that
the
references
To
the
pad
was
a
sanitary
napkin
you
know
which
absolutely
was
not
It
was
about
a
waitress
wearing
an
apron
holding
a
pad
You
know
like
the
pad
And
uhh
but
somebody
was
convinced
otherwise
So
censorship
or
the
situation
where
a
third
party
gets
to
determine
what
your
material
means
May
often
lead
to
misinterpretation
just
as
the
person
who
hears
the
records
Without
any
censorships
at
all
may
misinterpret
what
you
mean
But
it
compounds
the
difficulty
as
an
artist
getting
a
point
across
to
an
audience
If
it
has
to
go
through
a
third
party
who
gets
to
chew
it
first
before
somebody
else
gets
to
hear
it
It's
unpleasant
