Late Night

Stayed up way too late
I'm dedicated to the craft
I'll sleep when I die
And I'll continue to rise after

Life's been a roller coaster
The up's, down's and curves
Take it one day at a time
Closest thing to the cure

Keep away the demons
I got God by my side
Through the ups and downs
Never let my faith subside

Still haunted by my past
There's no time to hide
Life's always been a test
But I'm here ready to fight

Wake up each morning
Got goals I'm working for
You only fail if you don't try
So I keep going forward

Obstacles only appear
The harder that you try
Leave behind my fear
Keep my dreams in sight

The quickest way to a point
Is to head in a straight line
So I'm headed to the top
Nobody's gonna stop me now

Working hard for my family
Just trying to provide
Keep focussed on my goals
They go around in my mind

It's going to be a late night
Too many ideas to ignore
God please help me in this fight
