I remember back then
It was a struggle everyday
Had to protect my family
From dangers they may face

Learned to rely on myself
And trust no one else
Every challenge I faced
I tried to do my best

I rose up and never fell

Searching for the answers
Never know what's next
Feel like I can't comprehend
Like I don't stand a chance
