ና መድኃኒቴ አምላክ ከፊቴ ሁን አንተ
እከተልሃለሁ አታውቅም ተሳስተህ
ከአንተ እየተማርኩ ሕይወቴ ይገራ
ጭምተኛ ልሁን እንድመስልህ ልትጋ

እከተልሃለሁ (ጌታ) እከተልሃለሁ (ኦ)
ከአንተ ትህትናን ብዙ ነው የምማረው
እከተልሃለሁ ጌታ እከተልሃለሁ
ከአንተ ቅድስና (ቅድስና)
ብዙ ነው የምማረው

ትልቅ ሆነህ ሳለህ ከሁሉ የምትበልጥ
ደቀ መዘሙርቱን እግራቸውን አጠብክ
ትዕቢተኝነትን ከአንተ ዘንድ አላየሁ
ራስን ዝቅ ማድረግ ከአንተ እማራለሁ

የሥጋዊ ነገር ማልመድ ሰውነትን
ለጥቂት ይጠቅማል ይሰጣል ጊዜያዊ ደስታ
ግን ጌታ አንተን መምሰል የዘለዓለሙን
እጅግ ተስፋ አለው መከተል አንተን
