ጥበብን ፡ የሚሰጥ ፡ ጥበበኛ
የሕይወት ፡ ውኃ ፡ ወንዝ ፡ የእኔ ፡ መገኛ
እግዚአብሔር ፡ እርሱ ፡ የእኔ ፡ ነው
ኧረ ፡ ማነው ፡ ከእኔ ፡ ሚለየው
እግዚአብሔር ፡ እርሱ ፡ የእኔ ፡ ነው
እስቲ ፡ ማነው ፡ ከእኔ ፡ ሚለየው
ልጅ ፡ ቢወለድ ፡ ከባለጠጋ
ይካፈላል ፡ ከአባቱ ፡ ጋር
ሃብቱ ፡ ሁሉም ፡ ቅርሱ ፡ የእርሱ ፡ ነው
ግን ፡ የሚያልፍ ፡ ጊዜያዊ ፡ ነው

የእኔስ ፡ አባት ፡ ከሁሉ ፡ የላቀ
ሁሉን ፡ ገዢ ፡ በዓለም ፡ የታወቀ
እኮራለሁ ፡ ልጁ ፡ በመሆኔ
ኤልሻዳይ ፡ ነው ፡ አባቴ ፡ ለእኔ

ኃጢአት ፡ አልስራ ፡ እንጂ ፡ የማያከብረውን
ሌላ ፡ ምን ፡ ይኖራል ፡ እኔና ፡ እርሱን ፡ ሚለየን
በፀጋው ፡ በርትቼ ፡ እኖርለታለሁ
እንደ ፡ ሚያግዘኝ ፡ ጌታን ፡ አምነዋለሁ
አባ ፡ አባ ፡ ብዬ ፡ ስለው
አቤት ፡ ሚለኝ ፡ የቅርቤ ፡ ነው
ሚጠብቀኝ ፡ እንደ ፡ ዓይኑ ፡ ብሌን
ማን ፡ ሊወስደው ፡ ከእኔ ፡ ጌታዬን

የእኔስ ፡ አባት ፡ ከሁሉ ፡ የላቀ
ሁሉን ፡ ገዢ ፡ በዓለም ፡ የታወቀ
እኮራለሁ ፡ ልጁ ፡ በመሆኔ
ኤልሻዳይ ፡ ነው ፡ አባቴ ፡ ለእኔ

Wisdom-giver, bestowing wisdom
River of life-giving water, where my desires can be found
God, He is mine

Shares with his father
