Michael Cleveland - Farewell For a Little While paroles de chanson

paroles de chanson Farewell For a Little While - Michael Cleveland

Today as I walk among the graves
I met a man dressed in black
He stood before hem of stone, bowed his head in a well
As I turned to walk around
He said, "Dear stranger, won't you stay
And join me in a little prayer?"
Then these words I heard him say
"Goodbye my little baby boy
Someday we'll meet again on God's golden shore"
I remember the words he said with a smile
"Farewell for a little while"
Soon our little son remain
And as he stood by my side
He read the word written there
Then he began to cry
He took the stranger's trembling hand
And said, "Sir, don't sing prayer"
I know he would've been a friend
And someday, we'll pray together there
And then the stranger smiled at him and said
"Do you remind me of my child?
These were the last words he said
"Farewell for a little while"
"Goodbye, my little baby boy
Someday we'll meet again on God's golden shore"
I remember the words he said with a smile
"Farewell for a little while"
"Goodbye, my little baby boy
Someday we'll meet again on God's golden shore"
I remember the words he said with a smile
"Farewell for a little while"
"Farewell for a little while"
