Al-Anbiya

(بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ اقْتَرَبَ لِلنَّاسِ حِسَابُهُمْ وَهُمْ فِي غَفْلَةٍ مُعْرِضُونَ
مَا يَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْ ذِكْرٍ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ مُحْدَثٍ إِلَّا اسْتَمَعُوهُ وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ
لَاهِيَةً قُلُوبُهُمْ ۗ وَأَسَرُّوا النَّجْوَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا هَلْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُكُمْ ۖ أَفَتَأْتُونَ السِّحْرَ وَأَنْتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ قَالَ رَبِّي يَعْلَمُ الْقَوْلَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
بَلْ قَالُوا أَضْغَاثُ أَحْلَامٍ بَلِ افْتَرَاهُ بَلْ هُوَ شَاعِرٌ فَلْيَأْتِنَا بِآيَةٍ كَمَا أُرْسِلَ الْأَوَّلُونَ
مَا آمَنَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا ۖ أَفَهُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ ۖ فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
وَمَا جَعَلْنَاهُمْ جَسَدًا لَا يَأْكُلُونَ الطَّعَامَ وَمَا كَانُوا خَالِدِينَ
ثُمَّ صَدَقْنَاهُمُ الْوَعْدَ فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُمْ وَمَنْ نَشَاءُ وَأَهْلَكْنَا الْمُسْرِفِينَ
لَقَدْ أَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ كِتَابًا فِيهِ ذِكْرُكُمْ ۖ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ)

The Prophets

(In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. The reckoning of men draws nigh, yet they are turning away in heedlessness.
No admonition cometh to them from their Lord, but (as often as it cometh) they listen to it in idle sport,
Their hearts preoccupied. And those who do wrong whisper secretly, "Is this (Muhammad) aught save a mortal like you? Will ye then accept magic when ye see it?" He saith, "My Lord knoweth (every) word spoken in heaven and on earth; He is the Hearer, the Knower.
Nay," they say, "They are but confused dreams; nay, he hath invented it; nay, he is a poet! then let him bring us a portent as the (earlier) apostles were sent."
No town (destined) to be destroyed did believe before them; will they then believe?
And We sent not before thee (any) but men, to whom We revealed (Our message); so ask the followers of the Reminder if ye yourselves know not.
And We made them not of such a nature that they ate not food, nor were they immortal.
Then We fulfilled our promise to them; We saved them and those whom We willed, and destroyed the prodigals.
Now have We sent down to you a Book in which is your remembrance; have ye then no sense?)
