Al-Haqqah

بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

الْحَاقَّةُ ﴿١﴾
مَا الْحَاقَّةُ ﴿٢﴾
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحَاقَّةُ ﴿٣﴾
كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ وَعَادٌ بِالْقَارِعَةِ ﴿٤﴾
فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهْلِكُوا بِالطَّاغِيَةِ ﴿٥﴾
وَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَأُهْلِكُوا بِرِيحٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٍ ﴿٦﴾
سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَبْعَ لَيَالٍ وَثَمَانِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ حُسُومًا فَتَرَى الْقَوْمَ فِيهَا صَرْعَىٰ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ خَاوِيَةٍ ﴿٧﴾
فَهَلْ تَرَىٰ لَهُم مِّن بَاقِيَةٍ ﴿٨﴾
وَجَاءَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَمَن قَبْلَهُ وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَاتُ بِالْخَاطِئَةِ ﴿٩﴾
فَعَصَوْا رَسُولَ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَهُمْ أَخْذَةً رَّابِيَةً ﴿١٠﴾
إِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَى الْمَاءُ حَمَلْنَاكُمْ فِي الْجَارِيَةِ ﴿١١﴾
لِنَجْعَلَهَا لَكُمْ تَذْكِرَةً وَتَعِيَهَا أُذُنٌ وَاعِيَةٌ ﴿١٢﴾
فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ نَفْخَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ ﴿١٣﴾
وَحُمِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ وَالْجِبَالُ فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةً وَاحِدَةً ﴿١٤﴾
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ وَقَعَتِ الْوَاقِعَةُ ﴿١٥﴾
وَانشَقَّتِ السَّمَاءُ فَهِيَ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاهِيَةٌ ﴿١٦﴾
وَالْمَلَكُ عَلَىٰ أَرْجَائِهَا ۚ وَيَحْمِلُ عَرْشَ رَبِّكَ فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ ثَمَانِيَةٌ ﴿١٧﴾
يَوْمَئِذٍ تُعْرَضُونَ لَا تَخْفَىٰ مِنكُمْ خَافِيَةٌ ﴿١٨﴾
فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَيَقُولُ هَاؤُمُ اقْرَءُوا كِتَابِيَهْ ﴿١٩﴾
إِنِّي ظَنَنتُ أَنِّي مُلَاقٍ حِسَابِيَهْ ﴿٢٠﴾
فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ ﴿٢١﴾
فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ ﴿٢٢﴾
قُطُوفُهَا دَانِيَةٌ ﴿٢٣﴾
كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا أَسْلَفْتُمْ فِي الْأَيَّامِ الْخَالِيَةِ ﴿٢٤﴾
وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِشِمَالِهِ فَيَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أُوتَ كِتَابِيَهْ ﴿٢٥﴾
وَلَمْ أَدْرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهْ ﴿٢٦﴾
يَا لَيْتَهَا كَانَتِ الْقَاضِيَةَ ﴿٢٧﴾
مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنِّي مَالِيَهْ ۜ﴿٢٨﴾
هَلَكَ عَنِّي سُلْطَانِيَهْ ﴿٢٩﴾
خُذُوهُ فَغُلُّوهُ ﴿٣٠﴾
ثُمَّ الْجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُ ﴿٣١﴾
ثُمَّ فِي سِلْسِلَةٍ ذَرْعُهَا سَبْعُونَ ذِرَاعًا فَاسْلُكُوهُ ﴿٣٢﴾
إِنَّهُ كَانَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّـهِ الْعَظِيمِ ﴿٣٣﴾
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ ﴿٣٤﴾
فَلَيْسَ لَهُ الْيَوْمَ هَاهُنَا حَمِيمٌ ﴿٣٥﴾
وَلَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنْ غِسْلِينٍ﴿٣٦﴾
لَّا يَأْكُلُهُ إِلَّا الْخَاطِئُونَ ﴿٣٧﴾
فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِمَا تُبْصِرُونَ﴿٣٨﴾
وَمَا لَا تُبْصِرُونَ ﴿٣٩﴾
إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ ﴿٤٠﴾
وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَاعِرٍ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَّا تُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿٤١﴾
وَلَا بِقَوْلِ كَاهِنٍ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ ﴿٤٢﴾
تَنزِيلٌ مِّن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ﴿٤٣﴾
وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ الْأَقَاوِيلِ ﴿٤٤﴾
لَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ بِالْيَمِينِ ﴿٤٥﴾
ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ الْوَتِينَ ﴿٤٦﴾
فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَاجِزِينَ ﴿٤٧﴾
وَإِنَّهُ لَتَذْكِرَةٌ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ ﴿٤٨﴾
وَإِنَّا لَنَعْلَمُ أَنَّ مِنكُم مُّكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٤٩﴾
وَإِنَّهُ لَحَسْرَةٌ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ ﴿٥٠﴾
وَإِنَّهُ لَحَقُّ الْيَقِينِ ﴿٥١﴾
فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ ﴿٥٢﴾

Al-Haqqah

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Reality ﴿1﴾
What is the Reality? ﴿2﴾
And what will make you understand what the Reality is? ﴿3﴾
The tribe of Thamud and ‘Ad denied the striking blow ﴿4﴾
As for Thamud, they were destroyed by a terrible cry ﴿5﴾
And as for ‘Ad, they were destroyed by a violent, raging wind ﴿6﴾
Which Allah imposed on them for seven nights and eight days in succession: so that you could see the people therein dead and overthrown, as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees: ﴿7﴾
Can you see any remnants of them? ﴿8﴾
And Firon (Pharaoh) and those before him, and the cities that were overthrown, committed great sins ﴿9﴾
So they disobeyed the Messenger of their Lord, therefore He seized them with a severe punishment ﴿10﴾
Verily, when the water rose beyond its level, We carried you (mankind) in the floating (Ark) ﴿11﴾
That We might make it a Reminder for you, and that the hearing ear may take heed. ﴿12﴾
And when the Trumpet is blown with one blowing ﴿13﴾
And the earth and the mountains are lifted up and crushed with a single crushing ﴿14﴾
On that Day the Event will befall ﴿15﴾
And the heaven will be split asunder, for that Day it will be frail ﴿16﴾
And the angels will be on its sides, and eight will uphold the Throne of your Lord that Day, ﴿17﴾
On that Day you will be brought forth; nothing of you will be hidden ﴿18﴾
Then as for him who is given his Book in his right hand, he will say: "Here! Read my Book! ﴿19﴾
I knew that I should meet my account" ﴿20﴾
Then he will be in a life well-pleasing ﴿21﴾
In a Garden lofty ﴿22﴾
The fruits whereof are brought low ﴿23﴾
Eat and drink at ease for that which you have sent on before you, in days past!" ﴿24﴾
But as to him who is given his Book in his left hand, he will say: "Oh! would that I had not been given my Book ﴿25﴾
And had not known my account! ﴿26﴾
Oh! had it been the decisive blow! ﴿27﴾
My wealth has not availed me, ﴿28﴾
And my authority has perished from me ﴿29﴾
Seize him and bind him ﴿30﴾
Then drive him into the blazing Fire ﴿31﴾
Further, make him wear a chain, the length of which is seventy cubits. ﴿32﴾
For he used not to believe in Allah, the Most Great, ﴿33﴾
Nor did he urge the feeding of the poor ﴿34﴾
Therefore, he has no true friend here this Day ﴿35﴾
Nor any food except filth, ﴿36﴾
Which none but the sinners will eat ﴿37﴾
So I do swear by whatever you see ﴿38﴾
And by whatever you see not ﴿39﴾
That it is truly the word of an honourable Messenger ﴿40﴾
And it is not the word of a poet: little is that you believe! ﴿41﴾
Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little is that you remember! ﴿42﴾
This is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. ﴿43﴾
And if he had fabricated against Us any of the sayings ﴿44﴾
Verily, We should have seized him by the right hand ﴿45﴾
Then severed his life-artery ﴿46﴾
And none of you could have withheld Us from (doing) it ﴿47﴾
And verily, this is a Reminder for the pious ﴿48﴾
And verily, We know that there are some among you who belie (it) ﴿49﴾
And verily, it is a cause of regret for the disbelievers ﴿50﴾
And verily, it is the Truth, the veritable Truth ﴿51﴾
Therefore, glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great ﴿52﴾
