Zikr us parivash ka, aur phir bayan apna
Ban gaya raqib aakhir tha jo razdan apna
Mein wo kyon bahut pite bazm-e-ghair mein yarab
Aj hi hua manzur un ko imtihan apna
Manzar ik bulandi par aur hum bana sakate
Arsh se idhar hota kash ke makan apna
De wo jis qadar zillat hum hansi mein talenge
Bare aashna nikala unaka pasaban apna
Dard-e-dil likhun kab tak? jaun un ko dikhala dun
Ungaliyan figar apni khamakhunchakan apna
Ghisate ghisate mit jata aap ne abas badala
Nang-e-sajda se mere sang-e-astan apna
Ta kare na gamazi, kar liya hai dushman ko
Dost ke shikayat mein hum ne ham-zaban apna
