Raaz daron say bach ka chalta hon
Ghum guzaron sa bach ka chalta hon

Mujh ko dhoka diya saharon nay
Ab saharoon sa bach ka chalta hon

Aqal ko roag maar detay hain
Ishq ko soag maar detay hain

Aadmi khud na khud nahi marta
Dosray loag maar daitay hain

Sheeraz-e-hayat pareshan ho gaya
Yeh marhala bhi khair say asan hogaya

Mera sakon-e-dil ko tou hona he tha tabha
Un ke bhi ek nigha ka nuqsaan hogaya

Un ki taraf se tark-e-mulaqat ho gayi
Hum jis se dar rahe the wohi bat ho gayi

Aaina dekhne me nayi baat ho gayi
Un say hi aaj un ki mulaqat ho gayi

Tai un say rozay hasar mulaqat hogai
Itni se baat kitni badhi baat hogai

Aaye hain wo mareez-e-mohabbat ko dekh ker
Aansou bata rahe hain k koi baat ho gayi

Kab tak qamar-o-shaam k waday ka intezaar
