به خدا گفت: سـپـاس
آری احساس من این بود
خدا آنجا بود
من خدا را دیدم
گویا همسفرش بود خدای
من شنیدم که خدا گفت: بنوش
گوارای وجود

I was a child, searching for God,
In the desert, in the field,
In the heart of the verdant forest beside our village,
A lover and wanderer,
I searched for God everywhere.
At the foot of the mountain under an ancient cypress tree
Was a spring
Whose heart, like God's, dwelt in the heart of the mountain,
Flowing.
I saw an old man,
