The Big Bopper - Old Maid paroles de chanson

paroles de chanson Old Maid - The Big Bopper

Well,
I"ll tell you a story
Of a burglar man:
He went to rob a house.
He raised up the window and in he crept,
Just as softly as a mouse.
And thinking of the body he was going to rob,
Under the bed he laid.
That cat sure saw a sight that night
That made his hair turn gray.
About 9 o'clock an old maid came in.
"I'm awfully tired," she said.
And then thinking that everything was all right
She forgot to look under the bed.
She pulled out her teeth,
Her big glass eye,
The hair right off her head.
That chick was coming all apart.
The burglar had 'bout 19 fits.
And he came from under the bed.
What a mess!
Well,
From under the bed the burglar came.
He was a total wreck.
The old maid she doesn't holler at all,
She just grabbed him 'round the neck.
And from her drawer a revolver she drew
To the burglar man she said,
"Young man, if you don't kiss me now,
I'll blow off the top of your head."
Well he looked at her teeth, her big glass eye
He had no place to scoot
He said to the old lady standing there,
"Woman, for the lawd's sake,
Woman, for the lawd's sake,
Woman go ahead and shoot!"
