Eyes Wide Open

[Jesus is walking down the road. He sees a man sitting on the ground
He gets up and walks over to the man. He says, "Are you blind?" The
Man raises his hand and says, "Yes, I am." Jesus tells him to get up
And walk. The man gets up and walks. He takes off his coat and puts
It on the man. Jesus says, "You are free." The man gets up and runs
Off. Jesus looks at the man and says, "Now, you are seeing." The man
Looks down at the ground. He is happy. He says, "Thank you. Thank
You, Jesus." Jesus looks up at the man and says, "Now you can see."
The man raises his hand and says, "Yes, I can see." Jesus smiles
And walks away. The man's eyes are wide open. The blind man
Could not see. He couldn't see the flowers. He could not see
The people. He could not see anything. Then, something wonderful
Happened. Jesus saw the blind man. When Jesus came upon this man
He did something no one had ever seen. He made some mud by
Spitting in the dirt. He took that mud and covered the man's
Eyes with it. Then, Jesus told the man to go clean his eyes of
The mud. The man did as Jesus had told him. After the mud was gone
From his eyes, he could see. The man praised and thanked Jesus
