What motivates B.o.B?
Like, initially where you young and you trying to be heard
And you know, you broke tryna get money, then that shit motivation
You been able to have commercial success
You know what I'm saying? You doing shows, you eating and shit
So then people look like what-what he, you know, what's his struggle?

You know wh-, since I was a kid, man, like you know
I grew up in the house, you know I tell the story a lot of time but
You know I grew up in a house where, there really wasn't a house
You know, we literally grow up on a construction site, you know
We ain't have no doors and windows, no heat, AC (damn!), No refrigeration
You know, we used to put our food in a cooler at night
You know when the sun went down we had to go to sleep
'Cause we ain't have a light (damn! That's crazy)

So, mind you at-at the same time as I'm growing up
I'm thinking about the fact that these people in Third World countries is so way worse
That I've actually seen now traveling the world, performing and be like, yeah, you see me
They had way worse that this (exactly!)
And so it's like, I never really, I never really took my, my situation that much to heart
To the point where it was like a sad story for me, but it was more of a motivational thing
It was like a'ight, nothing would ever be this bad again
