Bill Monroe - My Sweet Blue Eyed Darlin' (Live) текст песни

Текст песни My Sweet Blue Eyed Darlin' (Live) - Bill Monroe

Would you welcome to the mountain stage for the first time
From WSM's Grand Ole Opry
The father of bluegrass music, Mr. Bill Monroe and his Bluegrass Boys
You're my sweet blue-eyed darling
And my love belongs to you
All I ask (all I ask of you my darling) my darling
Is love me good (is love me good and be true)
Days come and go and I still love you
When I see your smiling face
Please tell me love, that you need me
And no one's gonna take your place
You're my sweet blue-eyed darling
And my love belongs to you
All I ask (all I ask of you my darling) my darling
Is love me good (is love me good and be true)
And today, I need an answer
And I want to hear you say
You don't belong to another
And in my arms you're gonna stay
You're my sweet blue-eyed darling
And my love belongs to you
All I ask (all I ask of you my darling) my darling
Is love me good (is love me good and be true) my darling
Is love me good (is love me good and be true)
Thank you, thank you, thank you
It's really a pleasure to be here in Charleston, West Virginia, with you folks
And we just hope you gonna enjoy the Bluegrass music we got for you today
Over on the left-hand side from the State of Ohio, we've got a good singer, his name is Tom Ewing
And the newest member of the Bluegrass Boys is from the State of West Virginia
Billy Rose right here with the bass seater
You should be proud of him
With the five-stringed banjo from the State of Tennessee, from the volunteer state
He's from Sparta, they call him the Sparta flash, Blake Williams, give Blake
And with the little fellow from the State of Virginia
Man has been in music longer than anybody I nearly know of
(84 years) 84 years, his name is Tater Tate
Can I say I told you our bassman has got a lot of celebrating to do this year?
This ah, coming October
The last Saturday in October will be his 50th year on WSM Grand Ole Opry
He is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, and he records for MCA Records
Make welcome the Father of Bluegrass music, Bill Monroe from Kentucky
Thank you, thank you, thank you
