Trying Very Hard Not To Panic

I... remember when I used to spend my time
On the endless drive to get ahead before the clock runs out
I wouldn't let it go... I tried so hard to be the one in charge
I never let it go... it breaks my heart to see how far we've fallen

When this part of us is doomed then it's the end
We're just trying very hard not to panic

Time... we've spent our lives trying to find a little more
To just survive the storms that beat us down from time to time
