One Night

It was so late that one night
We were in the car that very night
When she said babe things aren't right
She said we're done will you be alright

I walked inside and began to cry
Collapsed to the floor no I won't be alright
It was then when I saw the pills to my right
Can I really make the choice to end my life

I said fuck it i'm so tired of living life
I drank the pill bottle and prepared to die
Everything went black and I saw my life
For once in my life now things felt right

Everything went calm and I saw my mom alive
She said son it hurts so much to see you not right
You have so much more to do with your life
She said i'd love to have you here but not tonight

As I woke I threw up everything from that night
I heard my friend knocking at the door and calling my line
I went to the door he said thank god you're alright
I said man don't worry about me i'll be fine
