Текст песни Kumbaya - Speedy Justice
Every
day
is
in
a
flux,
a
new
generation
Is
constantly
forming,
the
lines
between
Gen
X
and
Z,
millennials
and
boomers
aren't
As
defined
as
we've
been
believing
they
are
People
mature
at
different
rates
And
we're
not
defined
as
part
of
a
culture
But
we
define
ourselves
in
our
values
and
actions
I
gotta
say
though,
I
remember
many
years
Ago
we
were
much
more
naive
than
today's
kids
We
trusted
the
system,
the
whole
thing
Education,
legislation,
the
judicial
system
Medical
business,
all
of
it
were
our
safety
net
We
didn't
even
know
it
We
were
unshakeable
in
our
social
structures
We
believed
deeply
that
our
country
was
the
best
on
earth
That
our
way
of
life
really
was
superior
to
all
others
Of
course
we
knew
no
others
And
we
still
believed
in
a
god
A
force
that
loved
us
and
gave
a
part
of
itself
To
make
certain
that
we
never
die
Our
faith
was
solid,
not
just
the
kids
but
the
adults
too
We
really
thought
it
would
be
alright
And
that
we
were
in
control
of
what
we
saw
We
had
camps
in
the
summer,
with
canoes
and
zip
lines
Bonfires
at
night.
And
we'd
sing
all
these
folky
songs
Michael
Row
Your
Boat
Ashore,
John
Jacob
Jingleheimer
Schmidt
Home
on
the
Range,
John
Denver's
Country
Roads
Rocky
Mountain
High,
and
a
solemn
little
Diddy
that
no
self
respecting
musician
would
dare
sing
today
A
song
so
cliche'
that
it
became
a
pollyanna
joke
to
the
whole
world
We
never
even
knew
what
it
meant
But
it
was
a
summoning
of
the
great
god
to
enter
into
our
souls
Think
for
us
and
control
us,
and
it
was
a
hypnotic
chant
to
the
fire
Flames
of
the
campfires,
bonfires,
ash,
burning
cinders
lifting
from
The
smoke,
that
smoke
that
always
followed
you,
you
could
see
it
Even
if
you
moved
around
the
circle
it
would
find
you
with
the
Invisible
god
nestled
among
the
vocalists,
heeding
their
plea
for
a
Holy
possession.
