I educate myself daily to escape the trap
But I can't escape autism and that's a fact
So I guess I'm always doomed to be self-destructive
It's like I'm playin' a game with no simple instructions
Hopin' for the day I can find forgiveness for myself
And escape this pain that has me trapped livin' in hell

I can't read people, I couldn't if I tried
I don't know what is goin' on inside your mind
I'm livin' just like you, my only focus is me
Screw the tomfoolery, everybody should be happy

And that the truth I'm preachin' here
Screw living in conflict, screw livin' in fear
The only thing we have to fear is fear ourselves
And that's the only way we'll get ourselves out of this hell
