Every day I deal with a Lepsy
I have Type one Narcolepsy
Which comes with something
Called cataplexy, I laugh or cry
Or shout or sigh I fall down
And dream with REM Sleep
Behind my eyes

It's time to wake up to reality
Don't want to be another fatality

Every day I deal with a Lepsy

Up behind me my severe cataplexy
And Epilepsy does creep
A sleep attack seizure

I grab and I squeeze
With my hands and my feet my mother
Scrambling to keep things out of reach

I sit and I rock I listen to music
I feel tired from excessive daytime sleepiness
Yawning I grab my faithful acoustic
And write another song glad
I can effectively use it

People discriminate
Without thinking twice
I eliminate their words from my mind
I won't be caught in their vice
They themselves they incriminate
Letting those they speak to
They are left to pay the price

I have Generalized Epilepsy
And Narcolepsy Type 1
With Severe Cataplexy
