දෙව්රම් වෙහෙරට යන්න එන්න ඇති
බුදුන් වඳින්ට ඒ කාලේ
නිවන් දකින්නට පිං මදි වෙන්නැති
ඒකයි තවමත් සංසාරේ

බුදු හාමුදුරුවො අපිත් දකින්නැති
බණත් අහන්නැති ඒ කාලේ
නිවන් දකින්නට පිං මදි වෙන්නැති
ඒකයි තවමත් සංසාරේ
නිවන් දකින්නට පිං මදි වෙන්නැති
ඒකයි තවමත් සංසාරේ

අපිත් එක්ක සිටි අපේම යාළුවො
නිවන් දකින්නැති ඒ කාලේ
මෙතේ බුදුන් දැක නිවන් දකින්නට
පිං පුරවමු අපි සංසාරේ

බුදු හාමුදුරුවො අපිත් දකින්නැති
බණත් අහන්නැති ඒ කාලේ
නිවන් දකින්නට පිං මදි වෙන්නැති
ඒකයි තවමත් සංසාරේ
නිවන් දකින්නට පිං මදි වෙන්නැති
ඒකයි තවමත් සංසාරේ

We Too Shall See the Blessed One

We too shall not see the Blessed One
Nor shall we hear the Dhamma at that time
We shall not be keen to realize Nibbana
That is why we are still in Samsara
We shall not be keen to realize Nibbana
That is why we are still in Samsara

You want to go to the great monastery
To worship the Buddha at that time
We shall not be keen to realize Nibbana
That is why we are still in Samsara

We too shall not see the Blessed One
Nor shall we hear the Dhamma at that time
We shall not be keen to realize Nibbana
That is why we are still in Samsara
We shall not be keen to realize Nibbana
That is why we are still in Samsara

Even your very own friends who are with you
Do not see Nibbana at that time
Let us now see the Buddha and realize Nibbana
Let us fulfill our desire in Samsara
