I had dwelled here in search of your compassion
I have come a long arduous journey

Through thousand of sufferings and torment
My mind lingers in the blazing flames of dreadful thoughts
Oh venerable one at the very sight of your countenance
They are extinguished, extinguished what is this strange feeling?

At Dewram Vehera...

To encounter you in person while being alive
I see I have garnered little merit
Thus since the outset let me meditate on you
May I prosper in future lives and encounter the Buddha
