What I love, um, remembering
Is an awful lot of people first records
That they get me to come sing, you know
Sometimes I think it would help
If I was on their song or whatever
And maybe it did a little bit by name
But hopefully it was always talent, you know
That was the reason I got those calls, and

And I remember singing on Trisha Yearwood first record
You know, um, Patty's first record
Uhm, I don't, I don't, just tons of people's first records
You know, what was fun
Was to work with them on their first record
And then work with them on their second record

First record they was, "Oh, its incredible, you're doing great
Man, just whatever you want, man, it's fantastic"
The second record, all the talk about, "That sucked
I don't know why you're flat on that one note"
It's just like, "Okay, it didn't take you long to figure it out"

Ähm, ich weiß nicht, ich weiß nicht, einfach auf tonnenweise ersten Platten von Leuten.
Weißt du, was Spaß machte,
war, mit ihnen an ihrer ersten Platte zu arbeiten
und dann mit ihnen an ihrer zweiten Platte zu arbeiten.

Bei der ersten Platte hieß es: „Oh, das ist unglaublich, du machst das großartig.

Bei der zweiten Platte, da ging das ganze Gerede los: „Das war Mist.
Ich weiß nicht, warum du bei dieser einen Note daneben liegst.“
