いつも背中合わせにあって 自分では見えないから

物語がいつも私の 望むようには進まないけれど
その度に 心溶かしてくれる 人たちがいることに気がついてゆく
日ごと強くなるつながりを 忘れないでいたいから
影のようにいつでもすぐそばで どうか私を見ていて
たずさえた言葉を伝えて ひとりひそかに離れてゆこうとしないで
物語はきっと誰かの 想いをのせて進んでゆくもの
さかさにしていた 夢時計 もとにもどして時が刻まれてゆく
星では埋まらない 星空を眺めていても
傷が風にさらされても 人は人で救われてる
物語はいつも私を ひとつ変えてつくられてゆくから
もどり道にさよならをして まだ何もない 明日をつくってゆく

The First Magnitude Star

We're always with our backs to each other and since we can't see ourselves,
The image my eyes reflect is the other me.
There's someone I want to talk to, something I want to ask.
It all begins with an encounter; that's the bond between people.
There's no such thing as meaningless sadness. It's just that there is some happiness you can't gather up.
The world doesn't always go the way I'd like it to,
But every time it doesn't, I notice people who warm my heart.
I want to keep in mind this bond that's growing stronger every day,
So please keep watching over me like a shadow.
