I peeked my head out and saw Taliban soldiers crawling all over the place
I developed a new superpower, I became the invisible man

I managed to crawl from the tank undetected, in a thick army blanket I'm draped
I wrapped my head up in a cloth like a turban, walked off of the base and escaped
I don't speak the language and being American no longer has the same pull
I made my way south from the base toward the airport in the capital city, Kabul
I wasn't a student at west point but this was clearly not a very good plan

I made it to the airport in Kabul, a terrible scene was unfolding
A swarm of humanity waving their hands with their green cards and passports they're holding
I thought surely there's a plan to evacuate citizens and afghans to whom we're aligned
We're the united states of America, we can't leave all these people behind
We gave then eighty five billion in weapons, in a seventy two hour span

I heard the suicide bomb that blew up those marines, at first I denied it but its so
Our leaders have blood on their loafers, they created this murderous shit-show
My cover was blown I was outed, recognized by a local Imam
They roughed me up pretty extensively and was forced to convert to Islam
At heart I'm a god fearing christian, but now I know verses from the Koran
