Open up the curtains cause
The sun is peeking in the room
A rabbit hopping in a field
Of violets in full bloom
I can feel the windy waves
Of winter breaking through
Packing up my bags cause
I'm changing to line two
Line one was a journey
I would gladly leave behind me
Even though I've learned
A lot about myself, who I could be
It's time to start a new page
In my dainty delicate diary
Will it be a bumpy ride
With plenty of storms at sea?
Time to say goodbye
To my teenage years I outcry
I'm turning twenty tonight
Will I succeed?
Well, I might
I don't feel grown up and
It's been bugging me ever since
I still feel like a child without
A proper drivers license
Shouldn't I be worried
About my taxes and my bills?
But I'm listening to All Too Well
And it's giving me chills
I've learned to make spaghetti
But I might still burn the sauce
I'm still learning how to act mature
With people I come across
Oh dear I'm holding my broom
In the wrong direction
I just cut my finger
Does it need disinfection?
Time to say goodbye
To my teenage years I outcry
I'm turning twenty tonight
Will I succeed?
Well, I might
