そっと巡り巡る思い出は 振り回しても逆さまにしたって

Hourglass

I feel like something I can't grasp is flowing right before my eyes.
Gently, I spend my days turning an old hourglass upside down.
No matter how many seasons come and go,
I find myself falling in love with you all over again.

The warmth of your stiffened hands,
The crescent moon watching over us from outside the window,
The morning light after I untangle myself from your arms,
The scent of your black hair… I remember it all.
Even the numbness in my arms…

Even now, one grain at a time, it slips through my arms so gently.
Your smile, which I can only touch by gazing at it through a glass wall.
We used to say we'd make it a little joy for us when we're old.
