John 12: 31-43
John was a very close friend to Jesus. He told everyone of Jesus
People began to follow Jesus' ways. The leaders did not want it to be
That way. John was sent far away. He was put on an island, all alone
One day on the island, John heard a voice. It was loud, like a
Trumpet. John spun around. He saw the voice was coming from Jesus
"Do not be afraid," said Jesus. "Just write what I show you."
Then John saw the way into heaven. God had a throne with a rainbow
Around it. Every day and every night, God's angels sang: "Holy
Holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, is, and is to come."
John also saw other things. He saw the devil
Being thrown into a lake of fire. All the devil's
Helpers were also being put into a fiery lake
He saw a new heaven and a new earth. He saw the new city of God
A very loud voice said: "God's people will live
With God now. No more hurt, tears, or dying."
God said: "My people will live with me forever."
Then Jesus told John, "I am coming back to
You soon." John said, "Yes, come back soon!"
